Why do Christians today confuse signs and wonders as clear evidence of God when the scripture is clear that we should test the spirits. Scripture tells us to test prophesy. Scripture tells us to test teaching. We should all be like the Bereans in Acts 17: 11 and check out what the scripture says. Scripture always always takes priority over experience.

Is Todd Bentley drunk or possessed – consider the word of God Were the disciples really acting drunk OR was it the way the Jews accused them to put them down and invalidate them as they did Jesus. For example 1) John 10:20 Jesus was accused of being demon possessed and raving mad – did he really behave that way “Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane; why listen to him?” also John 7:20 2) In Luke Jesus says the following: Luke 7:33-35 33 For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35 Yet wisdom is justified by all her children.” Is there any evidence that the Jews were justified in their accusation of Jesus or were they just trying to bad mouth him? Therefore question for you – were the disciples really likely to be acting in any way drunk in the book of Acts or were they falsely accused of such? Second question – do you know of any other Acts meeting where there is any evidence of any behavior that was in any way able to be likened to someone being drunk. Such an event would support the idea that this behaviour might be valid but I challenge you to find such. More on worship of Angels: Angelology plays a large role here.
